Tianjin University students are learning about garbage classification on a training activity organized by Tianjin University.

Student volunteers visited the China Urban and Rural Waste Classification Planning Exhibition Center. Under the guidance of the docent, through videos and pictures, they experienced the relevant knowledge of the whole chain of garbage from classification, collection, transportation to treatment, and further understood the importance of source classification and source reduction of garbage.

In 2022, Tianjin University was awarded the title of the first batch of national domestic waste classification demonstration sites among public institutions.
